At the AGM of the council held at the community centre on Thursday the 17th May it was passed that the Mayor for the coming year 2012/2013 would be Councillor Sandra Davies councillor for the Craig-y-Darren area.
The Deputy Mayor is to be Councillor Susan Davies representing Craig -y-Darren.
The Leader will be Councillor Colin Morgan.
The Deputy Leader is Councillor Barry Cosker.
Committees were selected for the following areas.
Countryside Access - Councillors Barry Cosker and John Edwards.
Christmas Decorations - Cllrs. R. John, M. Davies, M. Williams, S. Davies and
Health and Safety - Cllrs. M. Davies, M. Mort, B. Cosker, S. Cosker, S. John and M. Williams.
Halls - Cllrs. C. Morgan, B. Cosker, S. Davies, H James and J. Edwards.
Staffing - Cllrs. Barry Cosker & Barry Kaines.
Appeals - Cllrs. Colin Morgan & Royston John.
One Voice Wales Will be attended by Cllrs. Royston John & Susan Davies.
The Joint liaison group will be represented for the council by Cllrs. Royston John & Sandra Davies.
The press representative wil be the Clerk.
It was also decided to keep the level of Grants for local organisations to £60.
